The Operating System · Align the Team

A custom operating system that lets your team run the business — without you in every room.

You've got good people and real momentum. What you don't have yet is a way for the team to own decisions, execute without you, and keep the standards in your head living in the business. That's what an operating system installs — built around how your company actually wins, not an off-the-shelf template.

Why an Operating System

The business outgrew the way it's run.

In the early years you built the company the only way it could be built — around you. The clarity, the standards, and the hard calls all live in your head. They were never moved into the team in a way the team can carry. So as you grow, more decisions route back to you, not fewer. That's not a people problem. It's a design problem, and design problems get solved with a system.

What it looks like today

  • Every major decision still comes back to you.
  • Ownership is fuzzy — everyone's responsible, so no one is.
  • Meetings are status updates, not decisions.
  • Priorities shift week to week without a clear rhythm.

What a real operating system gives you

  • Clear ownership across the leadership team.
  • The right people in the right seats, backed by data.
  • Operating rhythms that turn strategy into execution.
  • A team that makes the call without waiting for you.
What Makes This Different

Built around your business, not bolted onto it.

There are good operating systems out there. Most hand you a fixed framework and ask your business to fit inside it. This one is built the other way around — and installed by someone who has actually run companies.

Custom, not off-the-shelf

EOS, Scaling Up, and OKRs each have something to offer — but a template can't know your industry, your culture, or how your company actually wins. The system is built around your business so the team adopts it because it fits, not because they're told to.

Installed by an operator

I've built and scaled companies across five continents, led a 300-person team, and helped take a PE-backed business through a successful exit. I build the system with your team in the room — not hand you a binder and wish you luck.

Ownership that's real

The right people in the right seats, with clear accountability you can see — backed by Predictive Index so seat and person are matched on more than a hunch. When ownership is real, decisions stop routing back to you.

Built to stay after I leave

The goal isn't a longer engagement — it's a system your team runs on its own. I install it, embed it in your rhythms, and step back. What stays is a leadership team that executes without me, and without everything routing through you.

Custom-builtDesigned around your industry, culture, and complexity — not a template.
Clear ownershipThe right people in the right seats, with accountability you can see.
Execution that sticksOperating rhythms that turn strategy into decisions, every month.
The System

Six drivers. One flywheel.

An operating system isn't one tool — it's how the pieces work together. The Perform Method runs on six drivers that feed each other in a continuous loop: strategy sets the direction, operations create traction, and scale compounds the results — turning effort into momentum that keeps building on itself.

SELF-RUNNING BUSINESS Alignment STRATEGIC Talent STRUCTURAL Metrics DATA Resolution VELOCITY Playbooks SCALABILITY Momentum EXECUTION

Alignment and Talent set your strategy. Metrics and Resolution sharpen operations. Playbooks and Momentum scale the results — and the loop keeps turning.

What We Install

Inside the flywheel.

An operating system isn't one tool — it's how the pieces work together. These six drivers are what turn a capable group of leaders into a true operating team.

Strategy
AlignmentTranslate your vision into clear positioning and the few guardrails your team can make decisions against.
TalentThe right people in the right seats, with clear ownership — backed by Predictive Index — and a team that fits together.
Operations
MetricsA simple dashboard of leading numbers that show how the business is really doing — before the P&L catches up.
ResolutionA fast, root-cause way to surface and actually solve problems, instead of rehashing them.
Scale
PlaybooksDocument the vital few workflows that drive most of your results, so quality doesn't depend on you.
MomentumThe weekly, monthly, and quarterly meeting rhythms that turn plans into progress and keep it all moving.
How It Works

A clear path from your head to the team.

STEP 1

Diagnose

We look honestly at how the business runs today — where decisions bottleneck, where ownership is fuzzy, and where the standards still live only with you.

STEP 2

Design & install

We build the operating system around your business — clarity, ownership, rhythm, and accountability — and put it to work with your leadership team in the room.

STEP 3

Embed & hand over

We run the rhythms until they're habit and the team owns them. The system stays after the engagement ends — that's the point.

Who It's For

Built for owners who've built something real.

This is for founders and CEOs of profitable, established businesses who have good people and real momentum — and who are ready to move the operating system out of their own head and into the team.

  • You own or run a profitable, established business.
  • You have a capable team, but too much still routes through you.
  • You're growth-minded and open to honest feedback.
  • You want execution that sticks, not another offsite.

Probably not a fit if…

You want a quick fix, a generic framework, or a binder you'll never open. This work is for people who'd rather build a system that lasts than chase the next tactic.

The Other Half

The team aligns. The leader sharpens. Together.

The operating system is one half of the Perform Method. It aligns your leadership team so the business runs on more than you. The other half is a confidential peer room and one-to-one coaching that sharpen you, the CEO. They're built to work together — because a sharper leader with a team that can't execute, or an aligned team led by a stuck leader, both stall in the same place.

Elevate — the CEO

A confidential peer room of fellow operators and monthly one-to-one coaching that develop your judgment as the system develops your team.

Who Installs It

I've spent years moving what's in the founder's head into the team.

I've spent 25 years building and operating businesses across five continents, including leading a 300-person team and helping scale a PE-backed company through a successful exit. I've spent years implementing business operating systems — EOS, Scaling Up, OKRs — and developing leadership teams as an EMCC Accredited Executive Leadership Team Coach. That combination is the whole point: I don't just hand over a framework, I install a system your team can run. Outside of work, I'm an Ironman finisher, and I bring the same approach to this work that endurance sport demands: consistent systems, honest assessment, and the discipline to keep showing up when it's hard.

Credibility that matters

  • 25 years operating and scaling businesses.
  • Led a 300-person team; PE-backed exit.
  • Years implementing business operating systems.

Questions

What people ask before we start.

What is a business operating system?

The set of structures, rhythms, and agreements that let a leadership team run the company without every decision routing through the founder. It defines who owns what, how the team makes decisions, and the meeting cadence that turns strategy into execution.

How is this different from EOS, Scaling Up, or an off-the-shelf system?

Off-the-shelf systems hand you a fixed framework and ask your business to fit inside it. This operating system is built around your industry, culture, and complexity — and it's installed by an operator who has run companies, not delivered as a binder you implement on your own.

Who installs the operating system?

I work directly with your leadership team to design and install it. With 25 years operating and scaling businesses and years implementing operating systems like EOS, Scaling Up, and OKRs, I build it with your team rather than handing it over.

How long does it take to install?

It varies with the size and complexity of the business, but the goal is always the same: a system your team owns and runs after the engagement ends, rather than a new dependency on an outside consultant.

Does the operating system come with the CEO peer group?

They're two halves of the same method. The operating system aligns the team while the peer room sharpens the leader. The two are designed to work together — and we'll talk through which mix is right for you.

How do we start?

It starts with a conversation. We look honestly at where the business is stuck and whether this is the right fit — both ways. No pitch, just a straight conversation about what it would take.
